Tooele City Downtown Alliance Buffalo Unveiling Event
**New Buffalo**
Visit tooelecity.gov/buffalo to see our latest buffalo!
Tooele City has a few new residents! You may have noticed the arrival of three painted buffalo statues at three different locations in the Downtown Area. These buffalo are part of the Tooele City Downtown Alliance Buffalo Arts Initiative. This program is designed to support any projects for art or improvement in the Downtown Area. There are currently ten buffalo statues that have been sponsored by different organizations, businesses, and families within the community. Each sponsor has an artist design and paint the buffalo based on a specific theme or concept, and the buffalo are then placed in a different location.
Now that we have three of these incredible buffalo placed, we want to welcome them to the community by having a Buffalo Unveiling Event which is happening this Thursday (July 13th) at 5:00 p.m. The event will begin at the Pioneer Museum (47 East Main Street) and will then move to Veteran's Park, Main Street, and we will finish at the Health Department where our FOURTH buffalo will be unveiled to the public.
At our event you will have the opportunity to hear from the Sponsors, Artists, and members of the Downtown Alliance. All are welcome. You don't want to miss it!
