Tooele City has been recognized by the Arbor Day Foundation as a Tree City USA, part of our ongoing efforts to create a brighter and greener future for our community. To continue encouraging tree growth, we are excited to announce another Fruit Tree Giveaway!

Giveaway Details & Rules: 
- One tree per household, while supplies last.
- Proof of residency is required (e.g., driver's license, utility bill, etc...)
- The first 60 Tooele City residents to provide proof of residency will receive a tree.
-Trees are available on a first-come, first-served basis; specific tree varieties are no guaranteed.
- Residents must be present to receive their-tree pick-ups for friends or neighbors are not allowed.
- At pick-up, residents will be asked where the tree will be planted.
- No pre-registration is required.


Residents will have the option to take home one of the following types of trees on a first come first serve basis:

- Plum
     - Mount Royal Plumb
     - Elephant Heart Plum
     - Toka Semi Dwarf Plum
     -Santa Rosa Plum
     - Stanley Plum

- Almond

- Pear
     -Asian Pear
     - Twentieth Century Pear

- Peach
     - Early Elberta Dwarf Peach
     - Golden Jubilee Peach

Tooele City has been recognized by the Arbor Day Foundation as a Tree City USA. This is part of Tooele City's efforts to create a brighter and greener future for all of its residents. To encourage tree growth in our community, Tooele City will be holding a service project at Glen Eagles Park (971 N. 600 W.) on May 16, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. where we will plant 30-35 trees. Tooele City RESIDENTS who participate in this event will have the opportunity to take home a FREE shade tree. (One tree per household, while supplies last.) Proof of residency will be required (Ex. Driver's License, Mail, etc.)

Residents will have the option to take home one of the following types of trees on a first come first serve basis:
- Burr Oak
- Tulip Tree
- Crimson Sunset Maple
- Sweetgum
- Frontier Elm
- Trident Maple

Tooele City has been recognized by the Arbor Day Foundation as a Tree City USA. This is part of Tooele City's efforts to create a brighter and greener future for all of its residents.

To encourage tree growth in our community, Tooele City is giving away 60 three-gallon plotted trees at no cost. Trees will be given on a first come first serve basis depending on eligibility.

Each household may apply for ONE tree and will be required to pick up their tree on June 12, 2024 between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. The location for pick up will be emailed to you upon application approval.

Eligibility Factors:

• Must be a Tooele City Resident.
• Commercial Properties are not eligible, residential only. 
• Application must be submitted by property owner.  
• Tree cannot be planted in the Park Strip. 

4 Types of Tree Varieties:

Bur Oak

Golden Rain

Greenspire Linden

Sweetgum

The application opens June 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. and closes on June 10, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. or while supplies last.
