Streets

The Streets Division maintains all public roads within the city with the exception of SR-36 and SR-112, which are owned and maintained by the Utah Department Of Transportation. The Streets Division provides snow removal and minor preventive maintenance of over 340 lane miles of roadway. These responsibilities also include striping, roadway signage, and maintenance oversight of City-owned curb, gutter, sidewalk, and street lighting. The mission of the Streets Department is to provide street infrastructure and maintenance in the most effective and efficient manner street and sidewalk maintenance, street sweeping, signing and painting, snow and ice removal, and emergency response control for the safety and convenience of citizens and visitors.

August Road Closures!

Motorists should expect temporary traffic impacts, including lane restrictions, intermittent road closures, construction equipment, and delays within the work zones. We encourage everyone to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use alternate routes whenever possible.
Please note that the schedule is subject to change due to weather, field conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Please be advised that the maps and schedule identify the locations of ongoing roadway work and the anticipated dates for each phase of construction.
The maps are color-coded to correspond with the schedule. Each highlighted street matches the same color shown on the schedule, indicating the date(s) work is expected to occur in that area.

Street Sweeper

It is very helpful if residents make sure to clear any weeds that grow between the street and the curb/gutter and in the gutter so the sweeper can clean as thoroughly and efficiently as possible.
