The Tooele City Finance Department is responsible for the administration and oversight of the City’s financial operations with accuracy, transparency, and accountability. The Department administers utility billing for water, sewer, and solid waste services, and processes payments for all municipal services.

The Finance Department oversees accounts payable and accounts receivable, maintains comprehensive records of City-owned assets, and oversees the preparation and administration of the City’s annual budget. In addition, the Department coordinates financial reporting and audits to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and generally accepted accounting practices.
