America250 Tooele
Our community is proud to participate in America250, a national initiative leading up to the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 2026. This nonpartisan effort, led by the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission and America250.org, invites all Americans to reflect on our nation's past, honor those who have shaped it, and look ahead to the future we want to create.
We kicked off our local involvement during our 2025 Fourth of July celebration, themed "250 Years Protecting Freedom." This week-long event marked the beginning of what we hope will be many programs and activities celebrating our City’s unique place in America’s story.
As we look toward July 4, 2026, we invite everyone to join in this historic journey.
