Thank you Rocky Mountain Power for your support!
Thank you Rocky Mountain Power!
Rocky Mountain Power donated $2,000 to Tooele City for our City Hall landscaping project. As part of our water conservation efforts, we removed a lot of the sod around City Hall and replaced it with more water-efficient landscaping. We appreciate Rocky Mountain Power for supporting our project. We also participated in the Utah Water Saver's Landscape Incentive Program to help fund this project. Find more information about the Landscape Incentive Program following this link https://www.utahwatersavers.com/landscapeincentiveprogram.
Rocky Mountain Power also donated $2,000 to the Dow James Memorial Monument. This beautiful monument was dedicated in August 2023 to honor Lauren Dow and Daniel James, two Tooele City Firefighters who made the supreme sacrifice for the citizens of Tooele County when they lost their lives fighting a wildfire near Stockton in 1975. More information about these men and the monument can be found on our website https://www.tooelecity.gov/services/fire/about_us/firefighter_tribute.php.
We appreciate the partnership with Rocky Mountain Power and for their support of our community!
