Tooele City Parks and Recreation Project Updates

Update August 20, 2025:

The dog park at England Acres Park (880 North 400 East, Tooele) will remain closed through Friday, August 22 while crews finish installing new dog toys and agility course equipment.

For everyone’s safety, please use extra caution when driving or walking near the park while work is in progress. Signs are posted around the fence, and we appreciate your patience as we make these exciting upgrades.

At Tooele City, we’re always working to enhance the quality of life for our residents—and our parks are a big part of that. Our Parks Department is continually focused on improving existing parks, developing new recreational spaces, and ensuring that families and individuals have safe, accessible, and enjoyable places to gather, play, and explore.

Here are a few important updates we would like you to be aware of:

Elton Park Pickleball Court Repairs

East Side: August 1, 2025 - August 4, 2025
West Side: August 4, 2025 - August 5, 2025

England Acres Park Phase 3

New Sod - Please stay off the new sod so that it has time to establish.
Construction - On August 1 and August 2, there will be an increase of construction vehicles along 7th street due to the new parking lot project. Please be extra careful if traveling in the area.
