Fire Station #3

Fire Station #3 Ribbon Cutting and Open House 2025

Located at: 145 East 1000 North, Tooele

Fire Station #3 is complete!

The Tooele City Fire Department was established in 1910 and officially recognized as a permanent organization in 1919. In 2019, the department proudly celebrated a century of service and commitment to the community.

Tooele City is home to two additional fire Stations. Fire Station #1 was dedicated in 1957 (Fire Chief Toby Shields), while Fire Station #2 was dedicated in 1995 (Fire Chief Brent Curry). Now 30 years later we now have Fire Station #3 which was dedicated in 2025 (Fire Chief Matt McCoy).

We are thrilled to share the exciting success of the ribbon cutting and open house event that took place on March 29, 2025! This event also featured a traditional Push-In Ceremony for our newest Fire Truck Engine 26. It was a truly positive and celebratory occasion. We were delighted to see so many people come together to mark this special moment and participate in the festivities.

This project would not have been possible without the dedication and support of so many individuals, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to bringing this vision to life.

The new building is a tremendous resource for our community, offering faster response times to emergencies in the North end of the City, as well as an updated training facility for our volunteer firefighters.

This building is a valuable resource for our residents. We are grateful for it and for those who work tirelessly to serve and strengthen our community.
