Healthy Utah Community

Get Healthy Utah is a statewide organization driving changes to improve the health and quality of life of all Utah residents. They partner with state and local leaders to build thriving communities where physical activity, healthy eating, and mental wellbeing are part of everyday life.

Get Healthy Utah Designated Communities

Tooele City was designated a Healthy Utah Community by the Get Healthy Utah Organization in 2024. As part of this designation, the Get Healthy Tooele Coalition was formed. This six member coalition's purpose is to help oversee and execute the ideas from the community health plan that identifies the health needs in our community. They look for new ideas and ways to help the community enjoy active living within our City, improve mental health, and gain access to healthy foods. The Coalition will continue to ensure that Tooele City qualifies for the designation.

Meetings: The Get Healthy Tooele Coalition generally meets on a quarterly basis at the Parks and Recreation and Cemetery Building located at 255 South 100 East, Tooele.

Members: Darwin Cook, Holly Tippetts, Cody Lopez, Josh Decola, Marissa Manzione, and  Stacy Smart

If you are interested in joining the coalition, please contact Holly Tippetts by calling 435.843.2141 or emailing hollyt@tooelecity.gov.
